Present Situation: |
|
Our
club was successfully guided through its first year of operation by two or
three of its volunteers. It is hard to
consistently attract sufficient people to sit on boards to make required club
decisions and therefore it is basically impossible to remain compliant with
OSA Club Membership Rules. The
club operated a league comprised of three divisions totaling twenty-one (21)
teams, including three guest youth select squads that would otherwise have
had no competition. The three
divisions were comprised of 5 ea teams in Premier Division – Ladies, 6 ea
teams in Premier Division – Men and 10 ea teams in Second Division - Men. |

Specific Decision Requested: |
|
The
NDASC requests to be exempt from all requirements of OSA Published Rules,
Section 4 – Policy 2.1, as allowed under Policy 2.4g. The
club would instead operate under a published set of ‘Rules and Regulations’
approved by the SNE Executive Committee and OSA. These ‘Rules and Regulations’ will be
submitted annually to the SNE Executive Committee for review to ensure there
are no conflicts with OSA Published Rules. |
